Luxury Condos Replacing Hurricane-Damaged Family Hotel

Phase II is underway at Gulfside Twelve at 6240/6230 Estero Blvd. in Fort Myers Beach on the south end of Estero Island. Chicago-based Dublin Real Estate Investment Group is developing Gulfside Twelve. The eight new units are on the former site of the Carousel Hotel, a family-friendly hotel that stood for more than five decades before being damaged by Hurricane Ian in September of last year. Dublin bought the hotel for $7 million in November 2022.

The unit starting price is $4.1 million. Phase I has been completed and consists of four condos that have already been sold.

The residences are all at least 4,000 square feet each with four ensuite bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, large lanais, unobstructed ocean views in the primary living space, and principal bedroom suite. The pet-friendly community features resort-style pool, poolside cabanas, grilling area, and gathering space.
