Collector’s Garage is looking to build its second Scottsdale luxury car storage facility. The company, which owns the Apex Motor Club, has filed its submittal for a six-building, 82,720-square-foot venture at 9909 E. McDowell Mountain Ranch Road. The buildings will range from 7,200 to 21,600 square feet. The Scottsdale Business Journal reports buyers can purchase their garage, then design it and build it out to their liking. Each unit will fit five to six cars. It’s slated to be called The Collector’s Garages at Westworld.

Project documents indicate the developer is looking to rezone the vacant five-acre property. Under current zoning, the site does not allow for vehicle storage to be adjacent to residential zoned districts. A hearing before the Scottsdale Design Review Committee has not yet been scheduled.

The project team includes LGE Design Build, Summit Land Management and Rose Law Group.

The Apex Motor Club website says it is an exclusive, members-only motorsports oasis for fun, that has racing circuits, country club-style amenities, and private trackside garages.
