Luxury Bellevue Hotel Set to Open in the New Year

The InterContinental Bellevue at the Avenue, part of the $1 billion-plus Avenue Bellevue project, is now set to open early next year. The 208-room hotel from IHG Hotels & Resorts was originally slated to open in October but will now open in late January 2024, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal.

Bellevue-based Fortress Development Group LLC is the project developer, and the new hotel will be located at 850 103rd Avenue NE. Situated just north of Bellevue Square Mall, it will feature 12,000 square feet of event space, including a 4,250-square-foot grand ballroom and a 2,400-square-foot ballroom. The two-tower project also houses 365 condos, including studios and one- and two-bedroom units. The new hotel will be home to high-end retail shopping and restaurants featuring internationally renowned chefs.

IHG Group also operates Seattle-area hotel brands such as Holiday Inn, Kimpton, Hotel Indigo and Crowne Plaza. Benchmark Hospitality is set to manage the new hotel.
