Luna Vista Affordable Housing Community Opens in Mountain View

Nonprofit developer Alta Housing has kicked off Affordable Housing Month by unveiling Luna Vista Apartments, the firm’s newest affordable community at 950 W. El Camino Real in Mountain View, CA.  The 71-unit, five-story complex provides independent living for single- and two-person households earning between 30% to 70% of the area median income.

Luna Vista is situated on 0.61-acres, just north of Downtown Mountain View with on-site amenities that include a rooftop deck, outdoor lounges, conference room, library and laundry facilities. In addition, fifteen of the units are reserved for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Alta will provide on-site services for residents including education assistance and job counseling. “Alta Housing’s services are designed to ensure housing stability, promote health and wellness and encourage community building,” said Randy Tsuda, the company’s President and CEO. “Our mission is to create stronger, more diverse communities by providing and maintaining high-quality, affordable housing where our residents can thrive.”
