Luminia Finances ESG Upgrades for Gables Residential

Sustainability solutions finance company Luminia has agreed to deliver its flexible financing platform for the installation of sustainability improvements at several Gables Residential apartment communities in California. Gables will leverage San Diego-based Luminia’s financial structures to install solar carports and EV charging stations.

The solar system allows Gables residents the ability to access solar power at a cost less than utility company electricity, while covered carport parking and EV chargers increase resident satisfaction and retention.

“Gables Residential has focused on being an industry leader in sustainability efforts. Adding solar power generation is the next step to increasing our use of renewable energy in a way that makes economic sense for our resident and investors,” said Gables CEO Sue Ansel.
