Lumen Auctioning Off 800K-SF Broomfield Campus
Lumen Technologies is abandoning its Broomfield offices and is auctioning off the buildings. The opening bid for the nearly 800,000 square foot campus will be $6.5 million. The publicly traded telecommunications company is shifting its employees to offices downtown and elsewhere in Denver.
The 55 acres sit in the Interlocken business park. The property includes four Class A office buildings, two parking garages and a 9.45-acre undeveloped lot. The business park will be delivered nearly vacant, with an in-place data center lease providing income through the end of 2025.
Lumen Technologies is what remained after numerous telecommunications merged since 2013, including Level 3 and Century Link. Lumen previously also occupied an office property in Littleton at 700 W. Mineral Ave. It recently sold the 63-acre campus to Englewood-based Republic Investment Group for $50 million.
