Lululemon Opens in Downtown Detroit

Lululemon Athletica will offer more than just athletic wear at its new store opening in downtown Detroit Sept. 22, 2017.

The store will engage “intimately with Detroit residents by offering a place for connection, creation, sweat and collaboration,” according to a company statement quoted in Crain’s Detroit Business.

That will include gatherings like a free yoga session and mindfulness event Sept. 24. Lululemon will celebrate its September 22 opening with a DJ, ice cream, and a run at the 3,000-square-foot space at 1459 Woodward Ave.
