Lowes Foods Adding, Remodeling Triangle Region Stores

Lowes Foods, a Carolinas-based grocer headquartered in Winston-Salem, is expanding in the Triangle and the Low Country. Lowes Foods will introduce two new locations in the growing Triangle region of North Carolina: Wendell, NC, at Wendell Falls Parkway and Eagle Rock Rd., and Fuquay-Varina, at the Southeast corner of Old Honeycutt Rd and Purfoy Rd. Additionally, the company will convert an existing Kj’s Market in Johns Island, South Carolina, into a full-service Lowe’s Foods store.

In addition to new store development, Lowes Foods is investing in upgrades at three existing locations in the Triangle area of North Carolina. The store at 8440 Louisburg Road and 7281 Veterans Parkway (Hwy 42) has recently celebrated grand re-openings. The store in Holly Springs at 112 Bass Lake Road will have a re-grand opening on June 26. These remodels will include refreshed interiors and enhancements to signature Lowes Foods concepts, such as Boxcar Coffee, Sammy’s, and an expanded Cheese Shoppe and Smokehouse.
