Loop Alliance Unveils Online Tool to Track What’s Open
To serve Loop businesses and consumers in the evolving landscape of COVID-19, Chicago Loop Alliance has created an online tool that tracks what’s open in the Loop, with up-to-date details on business operations and tips for how to safely enjoy all that downtown has to offer.
“Foot traffic and parking volumes are up by more than 30% since March’s stay-at-home order, so we know people are gradually returning to the Loop to work, shop and visit attractions,” said Loop Alliance president and CEO Michael Edwards. “We want to make sure they know ahead of time what to expect.”
The online tool breaks businesses down into the following categories: hotels, restaurants, retailers, tours and attractions, museums, and public spaces. There is also a section detailing the safest ways to get to the Loop.
Additionally, the alliance has begun compiling “Loop Deals” on its website.
