Longview Company Re-Invents Itself

Stebbins Five Cos., which has been operating in Longview, TX for more than 25 years, sold most of its nursing homes, shut down, then re-opened as Gordon Jordan LLC. Stebbins Five Cos. sold Highland Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at 1100 Fourth St. in Longview, and Brentwood Healthcare at 3505 S. Buckner Blvd. in Dallas, TX to Oasis Healthcare Partners. The new company is operating a hospice in Austin, TX, and hospices and home-health businesses in Dallas and Fort Worth.

The company will operate on the site of the now-closed Stebbins Five, at Whaley Street. The ownership change also won’t impact Stebbins Aviation, a base operator at East Texas Regional Airport.
