Longtime Tenant at 51 Astor Place Expands to Full Floor

Edward J. Minskoff Equities (EJME) and JLL said Wednesday that Perceptive Advisors, the life science-focused venture capital firm founded by Joseph Edelman, has expanded to 25,000 square feet at 51 Astor Place in NoHo. One of the first tenants of 51 Astor when it opened in 2013, Perceptive signed a long-term lease to expand from 18,000 square feet to occupy the entire 10th floor.

Perceptive Advisors joins the ranks of tenants that have expanded at 51 Astor, including Intuit, Daily Mail US and Tudor Investment Corporation. “51 Astor is an exceptional property that has distinguished itself as a top office destination for discriminating tenants in the neighborhood,” said Edward J. Minskoff. “It is gratifying to see leading tenants renewing and expanding as they succeed and grow within the building.”

JLL serves as leasing agent for 51 Astor and a team led by vice chairmen Paul N. Glickman, Mitchell Konsker, Benjamin Bass and Cynthia Wasserberger represented EJME in the Perceptive Advisors expansion. The tenant was represented by Josh Friedman and Michael Horn of Newmark.
