Longtime Legal Tenant Signs Renewal at Rudin’s 80 Pine St.
Rudin Management Company said Monday that law firm Freehill Hogan & Mahar LLP has signed an 11-year, 17,333 square-foot lease renewal at 80 Pine St. in Lower Manhattan. The maritime law firm has been a tenant at the 1.1-million-square-foot office property for nearly three decades.
The third long-term lease signing at 80 Pine this year, the deal also coincides with the completion of the first phase of Rudin’s capital improvement program at the building, which included the renovation of the building’s ground floor entrances and lobby.
“As a valued tenant of ours since 1992, Freehill Hogan & Mahar will benefit from our recent renovation, and we’re thrilled that they will keep their New York headquarters at 80 Pine for many years to come,” said Michael Rudin, EVP of Rudin Management.
Savills’ Howard Nottingham and Allyson Bowen represented the tenant, while Rudin’s Kevin Daly represented building ownership in-house.
