Long-Time Owner Sells 161K-SF Northpointe Centre to Local Buyer

Ecom Real Estate, operating under the name Northpointe LP, divested itself of a long-term holding, the 161,170-square-foot Northpointe Centre in north Dallas. The 1980s office building sold to Symphony Northpointe LCC, a company registered to local real estate owner John Navai.

The sales price was not disclosed, with the Dallas Central Appraisal District valuing the eight-story building at 12005 Ford Rd. at $8.3 million. DCAD also indicated that Ecom has owned the asset since the late 1990s.

John Bowles, Bruce Butler and Susan Gwin Burks of Colliers in Dallas-Fort Worth represented the Dallas-based seller in the transaction. The tenant base is a mix of financial, consulting and educational companies. On-site amenities include a delicatessen and workout facility.
