Long Beach’s Tallest Tower Set to Commence Construction

Ledcor Properties Inc. and Anderson Pacific plan to break ground this week on Shoreline Gateway, a 35-story, mixed-use luxury apartment complex in Downtown Long Beach. The project will anchor the East Village Arts District, and is the companion building to the 17-story The Current apartment community on Ocean Blvd.

Shoreline Gateway will feature 315 apartment homes, along with roughly 6,460 square feet of commercial space and five levels of subterranean parking. A community room is planned on the 34th floor and a rooftop pool, spa and dining and entertainment deck is planned on the 35th floor.

“This tower will be the tallest building in Long Beach and will add an icon to our skyline,” says Mayor Robert Garcia. “We’ve been waiting for this project and excited that it will bring over 300 new homes to Long Beach.”

Shoreline Gateway is scheduled for completion in Q4 2021. The development team also includes Qualico and Lantower Residential.
