Lombard Parcel Sells for Self-Storage Development

Inland Real Estate Commercial Brokerage arranged the sale of a five-acre land site in Lombard, IL, for $1.2 million. SVPs Paul Montes and Eric Spiess facilitated the transaction on behalf of the seller.

The family-owned property is located at 880 E. Roosevelt Rd. The buyer and developer, Beyond Self-Storage, plans a Class A self-storage facility at the never-developed site. The company has 25 locations and operates more than 20,000 storage units nationwide.

“We wish to acknowledge our sincere appreciation to the seller, buyer and most importantly the Village of Lombard for being collaborative partners on this project,” commented Montes. “The development components were multifaceted and challenging with zoning, wetlands, and access from one of the most heavily trafficked streets in DuPage County.”

Represented by Tim Miller of Great Street Realty Partners, Lombard will be Beyond Self-Storage’s fourth location in Illinois, joining facilities in Arlington Heights, Des Plaines and Willowbrook.
