Lollicup Planning $50M Manufacturing Plant
Lollicup USA, headquartered in Chino, CA, will launch construction on a 700,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Rockwall, TX. The plant will go north at a cost of $50 million, with groundbreaking anticipated by the end of 2017. Completion is scheduled for October 2018.
The northeast Dallas-area facility will employ approximately 200, and will handle the manufacture of paper and plastic cups and food containers. The plant is being put in place for the company to better service the region, while boosting production capacity.
Lollicup opened shop in 2000, and provides a range of food and beverage products, as well as cleaning products and sanitation supplies. Brands include Karat, Karat Earth Tea Zone, and Total Clean.
