LogosFaith Development Expands into San Diego Market

LogosFaith Development, in partnership with San Diego’s Logan Temple AME Zion Church, commemorated the official groundbreaking on Logos Logan Legacy Place at the project site. The 43-home affordable housing community is located at 3186 and 3190 Franklin Ave. in San Diego’s Logan Heights neighborhood. The project marks the affordable housing developer’s expansion into the San Diego market.

“Partnering with Logan AME Zion Church to bring this affordable housing project to San Diego is a meaningful milestone,” said Pastor Martin Porter, founder and CEO of LogosFaith Development. “Reflecting on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s mountaintop speech and his vision of a better future, we too envisioned what was possible nearly six years ago. My goal was to build a development that would one day herald a new dawn for the city and our community – creating housing on faith-based land and helping address the housing crisis.”

The project is built on church land and centers on the adaptive reuse of the church’s existing fellowship hall, preserving a longstanding neighborhood presence while creating new homes for local residents. Delivery is set for 2028.
