Logistics Space Offers Rare Opportunity in Meadowlands

Cushman & Wakefield has been named leasing agent for 7300 West Side Ave., a prime North Bergen, NJ industrial asset also known as the Bergen Logistics Building. Director Bonni Heller, from Cushman & Wakefield’s East Rutherford office, is leading the marketing assignment for the property’s owner, Bergen Logistics.

The leasing assignment, and the opportunity it represents for tenants, grew out of Bergen Logistics’ decision to consolidate its operations into its 404,000-square-foot distribution center in Rutherford, a deal which Cushman & Wakefield arranged. Heller noted that facilities in the 100,000- to 200,000-square-foot range are scarce in the Meadowlands area.

“This facility is efficient, utilitarian, and very well suited for an apparel or other consumer product or other distribution organization,” said Heller. “It has a complete garment racking system fully equipped for GOH [garment on hangers], which can be removed at a tenant’s request, and also features pallet racking.”
