Logistics Property Enters Houston Area, Plans 97-Acre CityPark Logistics

Logistics Property Co. announced plans for CityPark Logistics Center, a 97-acre, master-planned logistics park in Missouri City, TX. The Chicago developer will begin construction on phase 1 of the 1.7-million development in Q1 2019. The development, the company’s first in the Houston area, is at Beltway 8 and Cravens Road.

The first phase will consist of three speculative buildings, one measuring 77,000-square-feet, and two encompassing 180,000 square feet, with delivery set for Q4 2019. Additional phases will consist of larger cross-dock facilities and build-to-suit opportunities. Method Architecture is the architect of record. John Talhelm and Kevin Erck of JLL will lease CityPark.

“We’re excited to enter the southern U.S.’s largest city with this project,” said Robert Wheless, LPC’s Senior Vice President – South Region. “There continues to be tremendous growth and diversification in the Houston market.”
