Logistics Property Company Breaks Ground on Two-Building Development
Logistics Property Company recently held a groundbreaking event to celebrate the firm’s first development in the Washington, D.C. market.
The two-building, 270,000-square-foot development is strategically positioned alongside MD-200 with immediate access to I-95. The location offers ease of access to major hubs including the Washington, D.C. line, the Port of Baltimore, and Baltimore/Washington International Airport.
“We are pleased to announce the commencement of construction on our inaugural project in the Washington, D.C. market in this premier location,” said Mark Glagola, Senior Vice President of Logistics Property Company’s Northeast Region. “This is a strong, growing industrial market and we hope to develop additional projects in the area.”
The general contractor is FCL Builders, Powers Brown Architecture is the architect, LJB Engineering is the structural engineer, and Salas O’Brien is the MEP engineer. The facility will be a major asset to the supply chain along the I-95 corridor. Beltsville Logistics Center will deliver in Q3 2026.
