Logistics Firm Takes 375K SF in Shorewood
HSA Commercial Real Estate and Clarion Partners LLC recently signed a 375,000-square-foot lease with DSC Logistics at the Heartland Corporate Center warehouse development in Shorewood, IL. Des Plaines, IL-based DSC has already taken occupancy of 250,000 square feet, and, within the next six months, will expand to occupy half of the newly-built distribution center.
The 757,880-square-foot Heartland Corporate Center building was developed by HSA Commercial Real Estate, in partnership with Clarion Partners on a 46-acre land site. Exterior construction was completed earlier this year.
“With our location at the I-55 and I-80 interchange and our state-of-the-art facility design, we are really optimistic about our leasing prospects for the other half of the building,” said Robert Smietana, vice chairman and CEO with HSA Commercial Real Estate.
Colliers International’s David Bercu and Matthew Stauber represented ownership, while Colliers’ Lynn Reich and Suzanne Serino advised DSC.
