Local Investor Snags 80K-SF Ingram Hills

ShopCore Properties sold the 80,347-square-foot Ingram Hills Shopping Center to a local investor. The center, at 6000-6064 Ingram Rd. on San Antonio’s west side sold for an undisclosed amount. The Bexar County Appraisal District assessed the asset at $9.8 million.  The CAD also indicated that ShopCore had owned the asset for approximately two years.

The property was 97% occupied upon closing, with tenants including Chase Bank, La Fiesta grocer, Aqua Dental, Dollar Tree, Vogue Beauty Academy T-Mobile, World Finance and a Subway restaurant. Bradley Suttle with Cushman & Wakefield San Antonio Commercial Advisors brokered the transaction between seller and buyer.

According to the Cushman & Wakefield website, finding grocery-anchored shopping centers in San Antonio is rare, as H-E-B, the main grocer in the metro, owns approximately 90% of its locations.
