Local Developer Plans Tropical Oasis

Houston-based Land Tejas announced plans to construct a two-acre lagoon as part of the forthcoming 1,700-home Balmoral development situated a few miles north of Houston-area Generation Park.

The Crystal Lagoon experience will feature sand beaches, a resort-style pool, a food truck courtyard, a 3,000-square-foot clubhouse, a boardwalk, pavilions, fire pits and a hammock park.

To materialize the vision of Balmoral’s Crystal Lagoon, Land Tejas partnered with Crystal Lagoons U.S. Corp., Heidt Design LLC, KGA/Deforest Design LLC and engineering firm Jones Carter. Construction is expected to begin in fall 2017, and complete in June 2018.
