LNR Property, Canyon Partners Vets Create New REIT

Commercial real estate finance industry veterans Justin Kennedy, Toby Cobb and Jonathan Roth launched 3650 REIT. The national commercial real estate lending, investment and services platform will provide both long-term lending commitments and shorter-term bridge debt and equity capital.

For more than 20 years, 3650 REIT principals have played leading roles in CRE debt markets. Kennedy and Cobb were co-CEOs of LNR Property LLC, and co-founded Grass River Property, the new REIT’s development affiliate.

Kennedy brings 32 years of CRE experience, including finance, investment, distressed assets and development. Cobb has 28 years of experience in investment and finance.

Roth brings 30 years of experience originating, structuring and servicing CRE debt and equity investments. Previously, he served as President of Canyon Partners Real Estate LLC.

Roth says, “The 3650 portfolio lending approach marks a return to bespoke capital solutions and responsive asset management.”

Headquartered in Miami, the REIT will have offices in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, staffed by a team of 26 professionals.
