L+M Elevates COO Lisa Gomez to CEO’s Chair

L+M Development Partners said longtime COO Lisa Gomez will become its CEO, effective Jan. 1. Ron Moelis, the firm’s founding partner and CEO since 1984, will become chairman of the company.

Under Gomez’s stewardship, L+M will continue to pursue affordable housing development opportunities in New York and nationwide, while launching LMXD, an affiliated platform to expand the company’s mixed-income and market-rate development business. Locally, its current projects include Urban League Empowerment Center in Harlem and Bronx Point in the South Bronx.

“I am honored to lead a company that has always stood out as an industry leader for all the right reasons: we invest in and partner with the communities where we build, we set national standards for public-private partnerships and sustainability, and we work to make a difference every day in the lives of residents,” said Gomez.
