Lloyd Jones Acquires Senior Community on Estate of Music Legend Maybelle Carter

Miami-FL based Lloyd Jones has acquired Maybelle Carter, a 131-unit, senior living community in the Nashville submarket of Madison, TN. The property will operate under Lloyd Jones’ proprietary Sage Hill brand as Sage Hill Maybelle Carter.

Maybelle Carter Assisted Living is Lloyd Jones’ third senior housing acquisition this year. In February, the firm added Aviva Woodlands in Lincoln, NE and River Bend in Rochester, MN to its portfolio.

The independent living, assisted living, and memory care facility located minutes from Nashville. It is built on the former estate of country music legend “Mother” Maybelle Carter; to pay homage to the musical legacy of the property, live and recorded music will be an integral part of the community and selected memorabilia from the Cash/Carter family will be on display.

Lloyd Jones is planning a comprehensive renovation program that includes restoration of the property’s grounds with new patios and seating.
