Chicago Returns, a coalition whose members include some of the city’s leading real estate firms, will stage a panel discussion titled “Central City Revitalization” on June 16. Moderated by HOK principal Kimberly Dowdell, panelists include Kelly Welsh, president, Civic Committee; Samir Mayekar, deputy mayor for neighborhood & economic development; Mark Kelly, commissioner, Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events; and Gia Biagi, commissioner, Chicago Department of Transportation. It’s being hosted by the Chicago Department of Planning and Development, the Executives’ Club of Chicago, BOMA Chicago, World Business Chicago and the Chicago Central Area Commission.

The event will be presented both in-person and virtually. A limited number of seats are available for the in-person discussion, which will be held at One North State.
