LinkedIn’s Proposed Mountain View HQ Campus Under Review
Connect San Francisco is just around the corner on May 9th. There’s still time to register. Click here for more information!
The City of Mountain View, CA is considering a proposal this week by LinkedIn to develop a multi-building HQ campus on 28.7-acres at 700 and 800 E. Middlefield Rd., and 1100 W. Maude Ave., south of Moffett Airfield. The most recent designs are the first look at LinkedIn’s development plans since the company acquired the land in a major property swap with Google in 2016.
LinkedIn wants to add up to roughly 612,000 net new square feet of office space, including three new six-story office buildings, which would bring the total campus build-out to nearly 1.1 million square feet. The project would be developed in three phases, with final delivery in 2022.
Following this week’s study session, the development and environmental review process will commence, including design review and community outreach. The project is proceeding under RREEF’s Gatekeeper project authorized in 2013.
