Lincoln to Steer $50M Revamp of Woodland Hills, CA Landmark
LPC West will re-envision Warner Landmark, a 12-story office tower in Woodland Hills, CA on behalf of the private ownership group. The $50-million renovation will commence Jan. 1, 2020, when Anthem Blue Cross’ lease expires at 21555 Oxnard St. and the health insurance provider vacates.
“This is an unusual opportunity,” said LPC West’s David Binswanger. “Anthem has been a tenant in this building for more than 30 years. Now that their lease is expiring, ownership has a chance to revamp the entire property and start with a clean slate.”
The improvements include creating a new entry at Owensmouth Ave., as well as recreating the approach to the building by removing the structure’s bastion elements and opening up the grand plaza to provide a spacious open-air feel for incoming retailers and food vendors. Renovations are expected to be completed by mid-next year.
LPC West will serve as development partner. CBRE’s Matthew Heyn, Jeff Pion and team will handle the leasing assignment.
