Lincoln Purchases 52K-SF Boerne Medical Offices

Lincoln Property Co.⁠ and PGIM acquired The Sobo Medical Building in Boerne. The multi-story, 52,000-square-foot medical office on Herff Road is 93% leased to a mix of healthcare providers and specialists.

The medical center is operated by Baptist Health System and the Surgery Center of Boerne. Baptist Brain & Spine Neurosurgery is also among the entities housed in the Sobo.

The San Antonio Business Journal reports that Perardi Development had confirmed plans for a multi-story medical campus along Herff Road near South Main Street in Boerne. That project is expected to include a mix of healthcare, wellness and retail space. The three-story tower, branded Wellness Plaza, will span 37,000 square feet and cost roughly $14 million to construct.

Perardi has an option on another 8 acres next to the planned Wellness Plaza site and is already contemplating an expansion to include a second tower roughly double the size of the first.
