Lightpath Building 282 Apartments in Emergent Seguin

The Lightpath Company is developing a $57 million multifamily project in the growing city of Seguin. The 282-unit apartment venture may be needed to accommodate the town’s explosive growth. Between San Antonio and Austin, Seguin’s population rose from 29,433 in 2020 to over 40,700 by early 2026.

Lightpath expects the project on 150 Sun Lily Road to be completed by March 2027.

The San Antonio Business Journal reports the apartments will serve as workforce housing aimed at residents such as teachers, police officers, firefighters and other local employees. The city will also maintain a financial partnership in the development, allowing Seguin to participate in the project’s long-term value while helping ensure the property maintains its quality standards.
