Life Science Startup Platform Planned at Cambridge’s Alexandria Center

Pasadena, CA-based Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. plans to expand Alexandria LaunchLabs into the thriving East Cambridge life science ecosystem of Boston. A full-service life science startup platform is slated to open in fall 2018 at One Kendall Square, in one of the most sought-after locations for life science companies in the U.S.

The facility is envisioned to meet the cluster’s critical demand for life science startup space. It will offer member companies more than 20,000 square feet of cost-effective and collaborative co-working space, including flexible shared or private office/laboratories, shared equipment and services, state-of-the-art conferencing amenities, mentorship and highly curated programming.

An on-site management team with a strong background in life science, laboratory operations, entrepreneurship, venture capital and investor relations will provide member companies resources to enhance their growth trajectories.

Alexandria LaunchLabs’ initial flagship site opened at the Alexandria Center for Life Science, New York City in June 2017.
