Liberty Property Trust Moving Forward on GSW North Park
Liberty Property Trust will soon begin phase three of its GSW North Park, a speculative industrial asset in Irving, TX. Construction is set to begin by late April 2018, with the 173,120-square-foot facility at Valley View Lane and Frye Road scheduled for a late 2018 completion.
The two existing buildings, which are 341,500 square feet and 195,200 square feet, are 95% leased. According to Cushman & Wakefield’s Kurt Griffin, market conditions are ideal for speculative construction of industrial product. “Given absorption and the lack of available functional product in the Great Southwest submarket, and the lack of good shallow-bay space, there should be solid demand for this new building,” he said.
Griffin and Cushman & Wakefield colleagues Nathan Orbin and David Eseke are marketing and leasing the project on Liberty Property’s behalf.
