Liberty Property Trust Buys, Leases-Up Rialto Facility

Liberty Property Trust expanded its SoCal footprint with the acquisition of I-120 Logistics VI in Rialto, CA. CTDI has leased the building at 1543 N. Alder St.

Liberty Property Trust’s Erin Plourde

Liberty Property Trust’s Erin Plourde says, “Our plan had been to acquire the 426,302-square-foot building at shell-completion and then market it for lease when a tenant with an immediate need reached out. We closed on the building and leased it in full in just a week.”

The asset features 36-foot clear heights, 53 dock-high loading doors, two grade level loading doors, a 185-foot fully secured concrete truck court and parking for nearly 100 cars.

Liberty leased-up its first industrial project in the market, a newly-developed 156,263-square-foot building at 9724 Alabama St. in Redlands, to Global Logistics Connections. This fall, Liberty plans to break ground on two more buildings including I-10 Valley Logistics Center, a 401,106-square-foot facility in Rialto, and a 94,911-square-foot building in Ontario.
