Liberty Property Trust Buys 88 Acres on Dallas’ I-20 Corridor

Liberty Property Trust struck a deal with Courtland Development to acquire 88 acres at the latter’s Mountain Creek Business Park in southwest Dallas. JLL’s Kurt Griffin and Nathan Orbin negotiated the transaction on behalf of Liberty, who was represented by Mike Heise.

The Malvern, PA-based Liberty Property has two distribution centers planned for the site. One of the developments will consist of a 752,760-square-foot distribution center on 55 acres. The other development will be a cross-dock building on 32 acres, totaling 460,620 square feet.

Mountain Creek Business Park is a 450-acre retail and industrial site at Interstate 20 and Mountain Creek Parkway. Tenants include Jack in the Box, CostCo, Nestle, Niagara Bottling, Ulta and Kimberly Clark.
