Liberty Investment Partners Acquires Richmond Retail Center for $10M 

Liberty Investment Partners, a real estate private equity firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina, has acquired The Shops at Wellesley in Richmond, VA, for $10.1 million.  

This neighborhood retail center spans 42,318 square feet and is positioned at 3416-3470 Lauderdale Drive. Currently, the center boasts a 94.5% occupancy rate with tenants including Hanover Pediatrics, Short Pump Orthodontics, and more.  

“The property is ideally situated in one of the most affluent suburbs in Richmond and is exactly what we like to buy. It is a true infill neighborhood retail center with an excellent mix of local, regional, and national tenants,” said John Barker, Liberty Investment Partners Managing Partner. Catharine Spanger of Thalhimer facilitated the transaction.
