LG Realty Advisors Unveils Plans for Liberty East in Pittsburgh
LG Realty Advisors revealed plans for Liberty East, a mixed-use development project in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood. The first phase of the $50-million project encompasses nearly 246,000 square feet of Class A, boutique office space, more than 50,000 square feet of retail space, nearly 700 vehicle parking spaces and parking for 60 bicycles.
Whole Foods Market signed an anchor lease for 50,000 square feet on the ground level of a nine-story building, which will be constructed at the corner of Penn and Euclid avenues.
LG Realty Advisors’ Lawrence Gumberg says, “The construction of Liberty East will mark the beginning of a new chapter for East Liberty and the surrounding communities, areas that continue to witness renewal and renewed investment at a time when all of Pittsburgh is experiencing rebirth.”
Construction on the first phase is expected to begin in the summer. Completion of phase one is slated for summer 2021.
