LFB Ventures, an Encinitas-based real estate capital advisory company, has hired Jon Spelke as Managing Director of the firm’s new office in Los Angeles. In addition to being the head of the LA location based in El Segundo, his duties also include growing LFB’s lending and capital advisory businesses nationally.

“Jon’s tremendous amount of experience in commercial real estate, coupled with his managerial skills was a major factor in our hiring decision,” said LFB Founder and President, Blake Bitterlin. “Additionally, as we continue to expand our platform nationwide, Jon will become a key component to our efforts.”

Spelke has more than 25 years experience in the industry, including senior level positions at Lennar, Centex, Clarion Partners and Hillman Properties. “I’m excited to join LFB and further the growth that Blake and the team have accomplished thus far,” said Spelke, a graduate from Northeastern University.
