Lewis Advances Moreno Valley Town Center MXU

Moreno Valley approved the sale of 56.42 acres at Alessandro Blvd. and Nason St. for development of Moreno Valley Town Center, a master-planned, mixed-use project. Lewis Acquisition Company (Lewis Group of Companies) acquired the land for $5.6 million and will contribute another $2 million to create a major public amenity.

The development is envisioned to create a new core for the city by providing an attractive new downtown area that will serve as a destination for residents and visitors. Included are entertainment, hospitality, restaurants, shops and offices. Also planned are up to 700 luxury residential units, as well as civic uses such as an Innovation Library/Technology Center, a police substation, and public gathering places.

Moreno Valley Mayor Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez says, “We want a destination Town Center to serve as both a beautiful new downtown core for residents and an alluring attraction for visitors.”

Design details include inter-connected plazas, urban niches, landscaped open space, walkable streets, and high caliber architectural features.
