Levine Brings Client-Side Experience to Fried Frank

Andrew B. Levine has joined Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP as senior counsel in the real estate department, based in the New York office. Most recently head of portfolio lending & underwriting at Natixis, Levine (pictured) brings extensive experience, both as a senior banking executive and as an attorney, to Fried Frank.

“Andy’s blend of client-side experience and executive-level insight will provide us with an in-depth level of understanding of our clients’ most complex needs,” said Jonathan L. Mechanic, chair of the firm’s real estate department.

Levine said he chose Fried Frank for two reasons. “First, they are one of the premier real estate departments in the country with a growing and well-respected finance practice,” he said. “Secondly, they offered me a flexible work schedule that allows me to pursue outside business opportunities that don’t conflict with my responsibilities at Fried Frank.”
