Levin Johnston Wraps-Up Record Year in 2022
Bay Area-based multifamily brokerage company Levin Johnston posted a banner year in 2022, selling nearly 2,500 units across 101 transactions, totaling $651 million. The deal volume easily surpassed the firm’s previous record high of $500 million in 2021.
“This last year presented many challenges for the commercial real estate industry,” said Levin Johnston Executive Managing Director Robert Johnston. “Despite economic headwinds, our team was able to spearhead 101 transactions, successfully sourcing quality buyers for a variety of properties across markets and asset types.”
While most of the deals involved Bay Area multifamily properties, the firm also closed transactions in Alaska, Florida, North Carolina, Oregon and several other states. A couple of notable deals include the sale of Victoria Park, a 60-unit apartment complex in Fremont, CA and Capitol Core (pictured), a sustainably built property in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood that features open floor plans and an abundance of natural light.
