Levin Johnston Completes Pair of East Bay Deals Totaling $43M
Multifamily specialist Levin Johnston of Marcus and Millichap, has completed two Alameda County transactions: the $20 million sale of The Storage Spot in Fremont, CA and the $23 million sale of University Village, a multifamily property in Hayward, CA.
Levin Johnston’s Executive Managing Director Adam Levin represented the sellers in the transactions and procured the buyers. “There has been an influx of capital pouring into commercial real estate as investors look to hedge inflation by investing in assets that outperform the market during volatile climates,” said Levin. “We were able to beat out the competition and execute these multifamily and self-storage deals, two of the most in-demand asset classes.”
The Storage Spot is a 57,000-square-foot building on 2.86 acres. The facility is located close to transportation corridors and is 95% occupied. University Village is a 68-unit apartment community, featuring one- and two-bedroom floor plans with upgraded kitchens, modern cabinetry and granite countertops.
