Levi Strauss Joins Roster at Staten Island’s Empire Outlets

Levi Strauss & Co. will open New York City’s first Levi’s outlet in 5,400-square-foot at BFC Partners’ Empire Outlets, the 304,000-square-foot shopping center coming to Staten Island. The jeanswear brand joins an Empire Outlets roster that already includes H&M, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Nordstrom Rack, Gap Factory and Columbia Sporting Goods.

“We knew that New York City’s first outlet center just wouldn’t be complete without the timeless denim jeans that have made Levi’s such an iconic American brand,” said BFC principal Joseph Ferrara. “As Empire Outlets nears its fall opening, our team can’t wait to welcome New Yorkers and visitors from across the world to this incredible shopping and dining destination.”

James Prendamano of Casandra Properties arranged the transaction. The majority of Empire Outlets’ retail and restaurant spaces are already leased, and BFC Partners is actively in discussions with several prominent tenants for the balance.
