Lenox Lake Highlands is Underway in Town Center
Multifamily firm OHT Partners LLC recently broke ground on the 403-unit Lenox Lake Highlands multifamily community at the northeast corner of Walnut Hill Lane and Skillman Street. Part of the mixed-use Lake Highlands Town Center, the community will open in mid-2022.
OHT purchased the 16.7-acre property late last year. The site includes five acres zoned for residential and commercial uses that the firm plans to develop in a second phase in addition to Lenox Lake Highlands.
Lenox Lake Highlands will provide access to the adjacent Dallas Area Rapid Transit Lake Highlands station as well as the Lake Highlands Trail, which will be extended to connect to the property and the White Rock Creek Trail by 2023.
“Residents can enjoy the best of Lake Highlands or easily hop on a train and travel downtown in 30 minutes from the transit station next door,” says Howell Beaver, OHT Partners managing director.
OHT will build and develop Lenox Lake Highlands. Other project team members include architect GFF, civil engineer Pacheco Koch, interior designer Ink and Oro, and landscape architect Bud Creative.
Previously known as Oden Hughes, the Austin-based company rebranded as OHT Partners in June to incorporate the names of all three long-time company principals Steve Oden, Craig Hughes and Eric Taylor. Taylor has headed the company’s in-house and third-party construction operations for the last decade.
