Lenexa Shopping Center Sold to Time Equities JV
Mid-America Real Estate Corp. has brokered the sale of Oak Park Commons, a 348,983-square-foot shopping center in Lenexa, Kansas. The asset was sold to a joint venture of Lormax Stern and Time Equities Inc.
Ben Wineman of Mid-America and Eric Gonsher of The R.H. Johnson Co., represented the seller, DRA Advisors. Completed in 1987, Oak Park Commons comprises six buildings on a 12.8-acre site. Located at 12120 W. 95th Street, the property is close to Interstate 35, which provides direct access to downtown Kansas City, and directly across Oak Park Mall.
Tenants at the property include Ross Dress for Less, Hobby Lobby, Ulta, Verizon, Dollar Tree, Petco, K&G Fashion Superstore, Northern Tool + Equipment, Shoe Carnival, Chipotle, Panda Express and Aspen Dental. New York-based Time Equities also recently acquired another Midwest shopping center, Burbank Plaza, from a private investor.
