Lendlease Staying in DTLA, Relocating to City National Plaza

Lendlease signed an 11-year lease at City National Plaza in Downtown Los Angeles. The Australian property company is taking 17,523 square feet at the 52-story 515 S. Flower St. tower in a relocation and expansion of its SoCal hub.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Justin Collins represented the tenant, while the landlord, CommonWealth, was represented by John Bendetti.

Collins says, “One of [Lendlease’s] main objectives was to identify a prominent and central Downtown location that would insure the employees could stay connected within the community and have access to a variety of quality amenities and transportation alternatives.” Lendlease is moving from DTLA’s Pacific Financial Center, and expects to be moved into the new space by this summer.

City National Plaza is a more than 2.6-million-square-foot project consisting of two office towers, one plaza-level building, and four levels of subterranean retail and parking.
