Lendlease, Aware Super Close on Financing for Culver City Mixed-Use

Lendlease and joint venture partner Aware Super closed on $316 million in construction funding for Habitat, an office, multifamily and retail project at 3401 S. La Cienega Blvd., according to published reports. Scheduled for completion in 2026, Habitat will comprise a six-story office building, a 260-unit, 12-story apartment building and 2,900 square feet of retail.

L.A. Business First reported that the 253,000-square-foot creative office portion is being marketed to entertainment and media businesses in the area. Designed by Shop Architects with commercial interiors by A+I and Steinberg Hart, Habitat offices will feature 50,000-square-foot floor plates with 14-foot heights, natural light and terraces.

Lendlease secured funding from Barings and Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate, reported L.A. Business First. The firm previously worked with Barings on financing for Claremont Hall, a 41-story condo tower in New York. Counterpointe said it provided $156 million of C-PACE financing on the project.
