Lemon Creek Ranch Site for 349-Unit Apartment Community

A Houston developer has bought 12 acres in Bexar County with the intent to build a new rental community. Allen Harrison Cos. bought the property at Lemon Creek Ranch, a master-planned community in Boerne, outside San Antonio.

The San Antonio Business Journal reports The Lemon Creek multifamily project will be 349 units spanning six three-story buildings. Amenities will include a pool, beer garden, community courtyard, dog park and resident clubhouse with co-working, parcel delivery, and 24-hour fitness center. Maybe as important as the amenities when it comes to marketing the project, a nearby shopping center will be anchored by an H-E-B supermarket (see photo).

Construction on the apartments is anticipated to start sometime in the next 12 months with first units delivering in 2025. Allen Harrison will serve as both developer and general contractor.

Lemon Creek Ranch is expected to see 600-700 apartment units, about 120 hotel rooms, nearly 472,000 square feet of office space, and just short of 150,000 square feet of retail and restaurants.
