Legato Obtains Tax Incentive for Development
Legato Holdings LLC, which is renovating a Texarkana, TX building that once belonged to a car dealership, is receiving a tax incentive for its efforts. Specifically, Texarkana’s city council approved the incentive offering Legato Holdings a 50% annual rebate for the next five years, with a five-year renewal following. The building’s renovation will boost its value to $3 million.
Legato is currently renovating the building at 3103 Summerhill Rd., which once housed Robbins Toyota, and later was owned by Texarkana College. The Texas Department of Health and Human Services will move 37 employees to the newly renovated property from its current location at 3115 S. Lake Dr. Additionally, another unidentified state agency is planning to relocate 38 employees from Austin.
