LeFrak Secures 27K SF of Retail Leases in Jersey City

LeFrak, a real estate developer, has secured eight new retail leases totaling nearly 27,000 square feet in Newport, Jersey City’s waterfront neighborhood.

Newport is a master-planned development created by LeFrak in the 1980s. The new leases include NYC-based Chinese restaurant Dunhuang Food, Morristown’s Greek eatery Efi’s Gyro, and Solaz, a new Mediterranean restaurant and bar featuring golf simulator suites. Other additions to the neighborhood include Roast’d Coffee, PingPod, a dog spa, and a barbershop.

The new retailers are set to open this summer, coinciding with the launch of LeFrak’s 16th residential tower in Newport.
